Living has become unaffordable in Guelph - a fact we see most clearly in our grocery prices. 

 

My experience studying food security during my Masters at UofG as an Arrell Scholar and working across food systems for the past ten years, gives me confidence we can make food more affordable here. 

 

City-run grocery stores, banning edible food waste and the disposal of it in landfills, and more robust composting systems to offset the cost of fertilizers for farmers and local growers are only a few examples. 

 

Vote for me to make Guelph a more affordable, equitable and people-centered community!
